Recent Development and Reformation of Steel Scrap Industry in China

摘要

The steel production in China ranks first in the world with huge imported amount of steel scrap. Recycling and reuse of steel scrap as well as utilization of metallurgical slag are important parts of the resources recycling industry and recycling economy in China. Speeding up the adjustment of industrial structure, improving techniques for recycling steel scrap, using fine raw materials in steel making, setting up a new system for steel scrap processing and distribution, building up seller-buyer alliances and stable long-term supplying bases of steel scrap abroad and promoting awareness of environmental protection and recycling economy, all of these are the main tasks and developing directions of steel scrap industry recently in China. It is clarified from the view of professional management by the author in this paper.
