MINING AUTOMATION

摘要

Mining Automation is on demand in most of the countries with mining industry. The workshop discussed the strategies of automatic control of the mining equipment for transporting and processing the minerals. An important subject to consider is the supervision and maintenance: condition based maintenance should replace scheduled maintenance to saving cost when avoiding unnecessary changing of parts. The crucial point is indeed the collection of relevant data, and their transformation into meaningful information. The panelists gave an input through statements for the discussion with the audience.
