摘要

In this paper, firstly, the necessity and bright prospect fir the virtual instrument to be put into use in water information measuring and forecasting in irrigated area are studied. It proposes that the virtual instrument and network technology can be introduced to the water information measuring and forecasting in irrigated areas to realize that such water information as rainfall volume, water level, flow, soil moisture, etc. are real-time collected and transmitted by network. And then, the basic functions of the irrigated area water information measuring and forecasting system, which it must posses, is described. Finally, the present problems of carry out the system are analyzed and the ways to solve them are proposed.
