In the distributed optic fiber temperature sensing system, useful signals are quite weak, and they will be completely submerged in noises. In traditional signal processing system, signals will be averaged and accumulated time after time. Although this method is more effective, numerous accumulations make the period of temperature measurement longer. In this paper, we present a method that combine wavelet decomposition and cumulative mean in signal processing. Based on the experiment and result, it can be approved that higher accurate value of temperature can be got by shorter accumulation times, under the premise that spatial resolution is guaranteed. Under the premise that temperature accuracy is guaranteed, the respond speed of the system is increased. The response time is shorter and the real-time capability is enhanced.
