A Rapid Development of Missiles Parallel Test System

Currently, most of missiles test are run on universal automatic test system (ATS). However, because of the limitation of the test interface capabilities and the running mode of test software, all missiles tests are run one by one on universal ATS according to missiles requirements. As missile technology and capability becomes increasingly sophisticated, the testing process also becomes ever more complex and time consuming. Parallel test, which means multiple units-under-test (UUTs) can undergo testing simultaneously on one test set, is one of key technologies to support next generation test system (NxTest). Compared with traditional sequence test, parallel test can improve test throughput by increasing test tasks during a period of given time, improve instrument usage by reducing idle time of CPU and instrumentation, save test cost by sharing expensive instrument and device. So t is a better solution for above challenges occurring currently in missiles test to develop missiles parallel test system (MPTS). In this paper, the upgrading alteration of MUTS, which is a rapid development of MPTS, is demonstrated in detail including these four contents as below: building missiles parallel test requirement database based on test requirements of MUTS, improving mechanical-electric hardware station of MUTS and reconstructing test units adapter (TUA), developing missiles parallel test program based on MUTS's test application by using software reuse technique.
