摘要

Thermal effect imposes the greatest limit on the precision of a ring laser gyroscope (RLG). On the basis of lots of environmental temperature experiment of a certain type of RLG, this paper contrastively analyzes the choice of several temperature feature-point, and selects the best temperature feature-point to establish an applied compensating modeling. The model is applied to the new experimental data, and the compensating result shows that the average bias is reduced to below 0.01°/h. In the meantime, the bias stability is also enhanced. Furthermore, the model can quite meet the requirement of real-time compensation. Therefore, it is valuable to the practical application of RLG.
