VHDL (Very High Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language) is an absolutely necessary tool of circuit designs in the realm of EDA (Electronic Design Automation). It has excellent abilities of structure design and setting up models, is valid tool that carries out the complicated structure filter hardware design. First, make use of the VHDL to set up systemic model for Daubechies7/9 lifting filter. Then, use the VHDL to carry on the detailed description for operating processes. Finally, utilize the simulation software to test the validity of the model through simulation waves, and according to the simulation results modify the model so as to attain the design request.
