A Solution for Securing Data Integrity in the Mobile Agent System

摘要

The Mobile Agent(MA) paradigm seems able to support effective distributed applications in open and heterogeneous environments,so much attention has been paid to this area.However,MA systems,despite these offered advantages,experience a limited usage because they lack of dispensable security mechanism,such as the agents integrity.which is not compromised if no unauthorized modification can be made without the agents owner noticing this modification.For securing the integrity of the collected data,especially in the situation that MA moves into an untrustworthy host or environment.this paper proposes a feasible solution for protecting the data collected by a visiting agent from being tampered.In particular,the paper focuses on how mobile visiting agent can be protected from malicious behavior of execution sites.
