Reactive compensation of electric power system has very important sense for to save energy and to reduce wastage, and to improve the power supply quantity. Traditionally reactive compensation of 10 kV electric voltage have adopted mechanical switched capacitor (MSC) that has many limitations. In recent years, the domestic and international have developed and researched widely reactive compensation with thyristor switched capacitor (TSC), but TSC exists some difficulties technically, and limits its practicality and production. So, the outstanding and creative technique is adopted by our institute. The product has many excellent characteristics, such as high reliability, and high performance-to-price ration and complete functions. The product will acquire the good economy and the social benefits.
