This paper introduces a new method, named radiation periodic integration measurement (RPIM), to improve the imaging speed and quality in the scan radiography without the interference of circuit RC time constant. However, the integral period may sometimes be different from the sampling period in practice, especially when the scan velocity exceeds a certain value, which will result in image distortion. In order to solve this problem, this paper also establishes an equivalent mathematical model to emulate the RPIM, and develop the corresponding image reconstruction theory and algorithm to restore the distorted image. All those are applied in Tsinghua Cobalt-60 train cargo online inspection system, and the scan velocity increases greatly up to 45km/h. ^g>radiation measurement; radiography; image reconstruction
