We have demonstrated that the luminescence properties of cdse nanoparticles can be manipulated by self-assembled silica photonic crystal. When the emitting wavelength of nanoparticles matches the stop band of photonic crystal, the Photoluminescence of the cdse nanoparticles can be greatly enhanced by up to 5 times, by changing the collection angle of Photoluminescence measurements, the Photoluminescence intensity of cdse embedded in photonic crystal can also be controlled.
