Augmented Reality (AR) combines the real world with computer-generated virtual information that appears to coexist in the same space as the real world. Most of conventional augmented reality systems registered additional information including computer-generated graphic objects, texts and sounds into the real world seen by a user, In the video-based interactive content system described in this paper, however, graphics objects are registered on the basis of video. We recover the projective motion of the real camera from the video and make the virtual camera, by which views of graphics objects are generated, move according to the motion of the real camera equally. So the user feels that graphics objects are fully mixed in the video environment. Unlike conventional AR systems, the proposed system augments a video sequence by graphic objects and is free from restrictions of the time and space.
