The paper deals with the iterative target trackingalgorithm based on the maximum likelihood method forbistatic forward scattering radar (FSR) with mobilepositions. The estimates of potential target coordinatemeasurement accuracy are obtained. The particularities ofthe FSR with mobile positions in respect to the radar withstatic positions are considered. It is shown that potentialaccuracy of moving target coordinate determination inFSR with mobile positions is close to potential accuracyin FSR with static positions. Moreover, additionalpossibility to determine coordinates of static objects isprovided in the case of mobile positions. The results oftheoretical calculations are presented in comparison withmathematical modeling results.
