Development of the Three-Dimensional Laser Scanning Machine for Die/Mold Surface

摘要

The design of the hardware and software of the three-dimensional laser scanning machine is introduced in the paper. In order to fit measurement request of freeform surface, The scanning machine has plane scanning mode and circle scanning mode. The method by changing parameters during the scanning course and combining the different scanning data is provided to realize adaptive distribution of measurement points. The method to realize real-time data acquiring is also provided by using multi-thread technology and interrupt technology on windows platform. Finally the experiments show that the system is effective. The scanning machine is being produced and used widely.
