Bamboo pulp fiber is a kind of new regenerated cellulose fiber. It has the following performances: good hygroscopicity; the tensile strength under wet conditions and the modulus of it reduce remarkably; well plastic deformation; good mixed spinning performance; the quality index of sirofil spinning is obviously better than ring spinning yarn. In order to avoid strength damage and elongation, small tensile strength should be used in preparation, sizing rate should be properly reduced, and the penetrability of pulp should be increased. The fabric has good hanging property, softness, hygroscopicity, air and moisture permeability, but its wear-resistance and anti-pilling-resistance are poor. The bamboo pulp fiber produced with present technology has no bacteriostasis, so new fiber preparation technology should be explored.
