A static electricity system was linked on the work roller of the roller card, in which fiber were held by work roller wire with the electrostatic induction, to produce parallel and uniform web. In addition, fiber transfer to work roller from cylinder, than was stripped by stripping roller from work roller. The circle action can improve the carding effect for more short and fine fiber. Besides, an on-line static electricity monitoring system and a device that measured the fiber loading of roller were installed on the each roller (e. g. cylinder, worker, stripper and doffer) of the card respectively. The electrostatic voltage and fiber loading for each roller will be measured. They also were evaluated with changing fiber properties and mechanical parameters and were compared with traditional method. And it is helpful to understand the fiber loading and fiber transformation between rollers and effect on carding efficacy.
