In an FTTH network, it is common to attach an optical drop cable using aerial closures from a nearby telephone pole when an optical fiber is drawn into a subscriber. In construction of an FTTH network, large demand for "Drop closures" in the near future is expected. This closure must have excellent workability with low price, and needs to be small also in environment. Moreover, the basic structure of "Drop closure" must be capable of mid-span access (non-cut slot), so that it can be attached afterwards, as demand occurs. Furthermore, it is called for that the both sides of mid-span fibers can be used, so that it is compatible with various network compositions. This Drop Closure was developed as a multi-closure that has the function mentioned above and can respond to workability and various network compositions.
