High rate (up to 20C rate) and large capacity (up to 100Ah) Li-Polymer cells are commercially available from Kokam Engineering Co. Ltd. Kokam Superior Lithium Polymer Battery (SLPB) cells are manufactured by z-folding cell assembly technology, which is patented worldwide. This assembly process allows flexibility of cell design in terms of rate capability and cell capacity. Superior performances of SLPB cells are suitable for HEV, EV, UAV, UUV applications that require high rate - large capacity (HR-LC) as well as reliable power source for electronic applications used by land warriors.
