This paper presents a MTF estimation method, which was used during the in-orbit commissioning phase of ROCSAT-2. From the result, it shows that the RSI has the MTF value around 0.13 at Nyquist frequency in panchromatic band and is well compliant with the specification of design. Moreover, due to the noise influence, the result MTF curves have large fluctuation phenomenon. In this paper, the approach to suppress the noise influence will also be discussed.
