Using Easel Types for Document Management and Retrieval

The primary challenge for users of document retrieval systems is to create queries that are effective at retrieving all and only those documents that exactly meet the requirements of users. Consequently, there is a need for some methods that would enable users to navigate visually and to understand the query results. We introduce usage of property-based types as implemented in Easel for document management and information retrieval. We introduce a formal method of navigation through query result. This navigation method is based on Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) and Easel property-based types (PBT).
