On enhancement of phased array modules based on MMICs by using digital circuits

摘要

The paper describes the essential influence of dispersion parameters of passive and active components on the yield of conventional digital phase shifter and attenuator MMICs. The design of a phased array module insensitive to components' dispersion, having low power consumption and losses, is offered. The design uses a flash-memory IC, analog attenuator, phase shifter and simple DAC.
