摘要

Several kinds of mineral admixtures were used to suppress the expansion of concrete microbars with some reactive carbonate rock aggregates, produced in Weifang, China. The effectiveness of these ultra fine mineral admixtures made of natural zeolite, fly ash, blast furnace slag, silica fume and some composite powder were tested. The mechanism of these admixtures' suppression effect on alkali-carbonate reaction was investigated by analyzing the relationship between the pore solution alkalinity and the microbars expansion.
