In many branches of the industry - especially on problems in automatization and intermittend handling of materials in needed. Well-know intermittend mechanisms mostly realize motions containing a jerk or shock. Three-geared-linkages generate intermittend motions without these disadvantages. Hitherto there are synthesis-algorithms only for special cases. In this paper, an algorithm is presented which yields to an exact solution for the dimensions of the mechanism, for any wanted step-angel. Furthermore, it is shown how to exchange the gears by toothed belt, maintaining the same motion. Moveable and projectable mechanism-models demonstrate the structure and the function.
