摘要

Based on the study of uranium series isotope compositions of uranium-bearing strata from different redox zones in the Kujieertai deposits, the forming processes and prospecting indicators of sandstone type uranium ore are discussed in this paper. According to the distributing laws of uranium series isotopic compositions in the ore-roll front and isotope characteristics of samples in different oxidation-reduction zones,the distribution of uranium series isotopic compositions not only can be used to predict the location of the uranium ore body, but also can be used to study the intensity of rolling during the processes that form the ore body. An area of a widely-accepted diagram of the distribution of U-Th isotopes which has been named the "forbidden zone", should be named the "conflicting area ofredox" based on results presented here.
