摘要

This paper will provide simplified examples of the problem associated with modelling across multiple phases. It will suggest and compare various approaches to handle some of the problems associated with modelling across multiple phases. The pros and cons of these methods will be considered and a detailed discussion of the method chosen for the Space Shuttle PRA will be presented in this paper. The rules and procedures developed for modelling the phase-specific interactions as well as the advantages of using this method from the project management perspective are also given in this paper.
