摘要

In Germany, an advanced approach for an improved qualitative and quantitative screening procedure has been developed and applied recently in the frame of probabilistic fire risk analyses for nuclear power plants (NPP). This methodology consisting of a compilation of information, the fire specific and the system related screening is described in detail. Application differences with respect to full power and low power/shutdown operational states are explained.
