The Value of Proper Modeling in Performance and Resources Assessment

摘要

The importance of proper modeling of realistic systems is discussed. A simple realistic case study is used to demonstrate the ill effects generated by over simplistic modeling. It is shown that understanding the details of, how the units in the system are repaired and how they interact with each other, enables correct predictions and proper design of the system.
