Regressive Analysis of the Desulfuration Efficiency in Wet Lime-gypsum Desulfuration Installation

Wet lime-gypsum desulfuration system is widely used because of its ripe technology and high efficiency. It is one of desulfuration processes that popularized by the coal-fired power utility in China at present. Based on the research of wet lime-gypsum desulfuration, the main factors affecting the desulfuration efficiency were discussed in this paper. The mathematical model of desulfurization efficiency was set up. At the same time, according to wet lime-gypsum desulfuration system's experimental data of coal-fired power plant, the single regression analysis and multi-regression analysis were carried out considering the effects of the liquid-gas ratio, pH value, SO_2 concentration. The mathematical expresses between desulfuration efficiency and these influencing factors were established. The data calculated by models were accordingly with the experimental basically when they are compared. These indicate that these formulae can be used for analyzing and predicting effect of every factor on wet lime-gypsum desulfuration system. Besides, the reference for the design and operation was offered and the forecast of the desulfuration efficiency of the system was given.
