摘要

Double-skin glass curtain wall is already a common feature of architectural competition in Europe for providing greater thermal insulation both in summer and winter. However, in Hot-summer and cold-winter zone in China, standards on thermal environment for double-skin glass curtain wall are left as vacuum. So the research on active meaning of double-skin glass curtain wall and its adaptability to the climate in this area is very important. Based on the comparing study of the experiment houses on double-skin glass curtain wall in various conditions such as orientation, ventilation and sun shading, the paper concerns its thermal comfort as well as its effect on indoor thermal environment and energy consumption and tries to offer a basic study in double-skin glass curtain wall design, which is not only beneficial for the technical realization of ecological building but may also provide the most possibility for logical expression of architecture.
