Nb microalloyed subperitectic steel beam blank continuous casting process is optimized on the base of numerical simulation, thermal simulation and industrial test. Mould powder for Nb subperitectic steel beam blank continuous casting is developed, and the problem of surface crack is solved in the production of Nb steel beam blank continuous casting. Therefore, the prime product rate of macroscopic structure of Nb subperitectic steel beam blank is up to 94%. Many kinds of hot rolled H-beam were developed on the base of these technologies, such as H-beam for oil platform, H-beam for railway vehicle, high strength H-beam. All the products have good properties and meet the requirement of customers.
