摘要

A new type of micro-manipulation system drived by voltages can be based to manipulate small particulates of sizes from about 30 to 100 μm. Two arms micro-tweezers system is made of carbon-fibers and optical-fibers. The system of three arm micro-tweezers, a new type of the system based on two arms micro-tweezers. How to fabricate them, the experiment on the measurements of electromechanical response of them and grasping particulates and the simulation methods for the systems will be explained here. The three arm carbon-fiber micro-tweezers had an elastic response when applied voltages, could be closed by applying a potential of ~ 162V, which approximates the simulation result 181V.
