The fast development of fiber laser technology brings laser industry challenges and opportunities. From general market and application point of view, the challenges are not destruction but rather constructive and the opportunities are so revolutionized that the entrepreneur, engineer, scientist or student who servers laser industry should never miss. Before making the decision and ready to dedicate one's career to fiber laser technology, he or she should fully understand the fundamentals related to fiber laser.
