In this paper, a fast, accurate and memory-saving Tomosynthesis algorithm is presented based on the Algebraic Reconstruction Technique (ART). In this approach, nonzero weights are calculated and saved in a compact look-up table in advance, which speeds up the reconstruction and greatly reduces the memory space. A Bessel-Kaiser function is used to significantly improve the reconstruction quality. Simulation results show that the proposed method makes a fast, accurate and memory-saving reconstruction of a 3D object.
