摘要

Increasing complexity of real-time systems, and demands for enabling their configurability and tailorability are strong motivations for applying new software engineering principles such as aspect-oriented software development. However, to successfully apply aspect-orientation to real-time systems, methods for designing real-time systems using aspects and components, and analyzing temporal behavior of the resulting software are needed. We contribute by introducing an approach for analyzing the worst-case execution time (WCET) of a real-time system compositioned using aspects and components. The approach consists of aspect-level WCET analysis of components, aspects and the compositioned realtime system, as well as design guidelines for the implementation of components and aspects in a real-time environment.
