Building emulation framework for non-volatile memory

摘要

Currently, researchers use simulators to experiment their innovation on emerging non-volatile memory. Unfortunately, simulation method is both time-consuming and are hard to debug. In this paper, we present a non-volatile memory emulator which enables system-level research on emerging memory. Our emulator uses performance monitoring units on off-the-shelf processors to implement an accurete performance model.
