摘要

The compression and rheological behavior of frozen grounds (ice and frozen soils) are attributed mainly, to the high viscosity of polycrystalline ice. The constitutive and rheological mathematical model's parameters are can be determinened from the triaxial compression and stress relaxation tests. The objective of the present paper is to investigate experimentally the mechanical behavior of polycrystalline ice matrix in frozen soils: short, and long-term strength. This will shed lights for understanding the mechanisms contributing to the mechanical behavior of frozen grounds.
