摘要

Close range photogrammetry was applied for the documentation of the Ajina Tepa site. Before starting the conservation work, the surface of the deteriorated earthen structures in the temple area was documented in three dimensions. During the project these features have been covered by modern mud bricks and plaster layers. The documentation activity of photogrammetry was also applied after the conservation work around the stupa. The comparison of documentations over a period of time was useful for understanding the extent of conservation work and the change occured in the site. However, accuracy of photogrammetry is affected by photographs including photo-positions, photo-directions and so on. The application of photogrammetric techniques to historic sites is influenced also by object distance and base line of camera positions.
