摘要

We present an optoelectronic receiver circuit with a high dynamic range of 106 for an optical input power between 2pW and 2μW with a linear deviation below 2%. This sensor is fabricated in a cost-effective CMOS standard technology. The low detection limit and high dynamic range in conjunction with peripheral functions such as on-chip calibration, output signal shape selection and an uninterrupted count register allow the circuit to be used universally.
