摘要

Red afterglow phosphor Y2O2S: Eu, Mg, Ti, Gd was prepared by solid state reaction method. The sintering conditions containing atmosphere, sintering temperature and holding time were investigated. The obtained phosphor compositions were characterized for their phase by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used for the surface morphology. Photoluminescence (PL) properties were investigated by measuring emission spectra and decay curves. The intense red emission was observed for the Y2O2S: Eu, Mg, Ti, Gd phosphor (λmax=626 nm). The sintering conditions have great effect on the luminescent properties of obtained phosphor. The results indicate that the optimized sintering temperature is 1250°C, the holding time is 3 h and the atmosphere is CS2.
