摘要

Convection in the insulation material of a building influences the energy efficiency of the building and, in some cases, also the indoor air quality and the durability of the building components. Investigations on horizontal insulation and the thermal effects of natural and forced convection are presented. In particular attic configurations are examined, including different combinations of boundary conditions and material inhomogenities. Both measurements and simulations are used for the investigations.
