摘要

The ventilation rate is one of the factors influencing the thermal performance of buildings. The total ventilation rate consists of the ventilation rate by infiltration - the basic ventilation rate value - and of the ventilation rate by opening windows. The ventilation rate by infiltration depends on the building type and geometry, the building structures, the outdoor and indoor boundary conditions, but it is not dependent on the inhabitants behaviour. The ventilation by opening windows depends on the subjective and objective factors influencing the inhabitant's behaviour. On the base of the thermal performance analysis done for the four identical residential objects it was concluded that the opening of the windows is proportional to the interior overheating and temperature, however it also depends on the individual habits and way of life of the inhabitants. The heat loss by this ventilation is approximately equal to the internal heating input increasing the indoor temperature above the comfort value.
