Aerodynamic simulation in aerospace industry: status, needs and expectations from EADS

摘要

The status of aerodynamic simulation techniques is shortly reviewed from an industrial point of view. Capabilities and achievements in this field are underlined by considering the situation in transport as well as military aircraft. Based on the needs of industry, demands for future research are derived and outlined in a general way.
