An Industrial Practice of Sinter Produced from Magnetite Concentrate

Originally, the fine magnetite concentrate is suitable for pellets, but it is used for sinter in China. In 60 - 70' s of last century the magnetite concentrate was the main raw material for sinter. Since 80' s the sinter fines have been imported more and more, Up to now about 36% of total iron ore consumption are imported. The compose of raw materials of sinter in China is changed. And the production of pellets is improved. But Chinese successful experience in using fine magnetite concentrate is still rather valuable.
