This paper describes, analyzes, and illustrates how climatic factors influence product reliability. There is a system of complex influences of basic climatic factors on the properties and reliability of materials and machinery. The paper describes how solar radiation, pollution, temperature (including daily and yearly fluctuations, and changes of rate as well as humidity, fog, and dew, etc.) influence the product reliability separately. Finally it shows how the combination of climatic factors affects product reliability. The above analysis and description can help to evaluate and predict product reliability more accurately, and simulate field input influences for accelerated reliability testing.
