An efficient and effective pneumatic system should do work with minimum cost of energy, repair, replacement, man-hours and little pressure drop. In most cases the source of compressed air is centralized. For function, cost and common sense we advocate that the clean, dry air from a central source be centrally lubricated also. Figure 1. (pg 2) depicts what a revolutionary pneumatic system with centralized lubrication might look like with obvious advantages, efficiency and proven superior lubrication. Figure 2. (pg 2) shows a conventional pneumatic system with the common inefficiencies, maintenance hogs and pressure loss. The 20th century introduced us to an unprecedented wealth of inventions, innovations, products, techniques and concepts. We witnessed massive changes, increased productivity and GNP with mass production, automation, innovation, and improved methods of manufacturing. The use of electricity and electronics has shown phenomenal innovation.
