摘要

The choice of material for the seals and the choice of rod surface treatment and roughness has a major impact on friction, leakage and wear of rod seals in hydraulic sealing applications. The friction and wear behavior of hydraulic rod seals depends on the geometry of the rod seal type, the coefficient of friction of the seal material used and on the treatment and structure of the rod surface. The following paper presents the results of dynamic rod seal tests, depending on test parameters and rod surface treatment.
