摘要

The current state of prognostics and health monitoring of gas turbine engine rotor blades is outlined. Differences in high cycle fatigue and low cycle fatigue prognostics approaches are noted. A maturation plan to get from a laboratory development system to an autonomous prognostics and health monitoring system is described. This plan addresses issues of algorithm maturation, system architecture, data storage, processor selection, and early refinement in a fleet.
