摘要

An EP-IR based gas phase hydrocarbon analyzer was used to develop a quantitative model for the simultaneous measurement of ethane and propane in a methane stream. Accuracy of the order of 0.1 to 0.3% relative and speciation performances are presented and discussed. Initial models were developed from and validated with sets of certified calibration mixtures of the three gases. EP-IR spectrometers are rapid scanning, vibration insensitive, and hygroscopic optics-free sensing devices. Their small form factor (inclusive of the dedicated sampling accessories) enables rapid and cost-effective deployment in process and outdoor environments.
