摘要

Mechanism was studied for the functional impairment of Na~+-taurine transporter in the presence of sodium nitroprusside in rat renal brush border membrane vesicles. Based on the kinetic analysis, V_(max) for Na~+-dependent taurine system was reduced in the presence of NO donor, indicating the number of functional transporter is reduced in the pretreatment.
