摘要

The Self Micro Emulsifying Drag Delivery system(SMEDDS) consisting of fatty acid, surfactant and excipients was utilized to enhance dissolution rate and bioavailability of poorly water-soluble itraconazole. The dissolution rates of SMEDDS compositions were also very high compared to Sporanox~(~R) at the simulated gastric and intestinal fluid. The SMEDDS also gave about 2~2.5 times higher bioavailability when compared marketed Sporanox~(~R).
